DevMap: Grand Rapids ("DevMap", "we", "us") is a civic development intelligence platform serving the Grand Rapids, Michigan area. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

DevMap collects limited information in two ways:

• Project submissions: When you submit a development project or suggest an edit through the site, we collect the information you provide in the form (project name, address, description, and contact details if included). Submissions are reviewed before being published.
• Infrastructure logs: Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. This data is used for security and performance purposes and is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.

What We Do Not Collect

• We do not use advertising trackers or sell your data to third parties.
• We do not require account creation or collect login credentials.
• We do not use cookies beyond what is necessary for basic site function.
• We do not build user profiles or track behavior across sessions.

How We Use Your Information

Information from project submissions is used solely to review, verify, and potentially publish development data on the DevMap platform. We may contact you if we have questions about your submission, if you provided contact information.

Third-Party Data Sources

DevMap displays publicly available data from sources including Kent County GIS, the City of Grand Rapids ArcGIS Hub, EGLE, FEMA, and transit agencies. This data is displayed as-is and subject to the respective agencies' data policies.

Data Accuracy

DevMap aggregates data from public records and user submissions. While we make reasonable efforts to verify information, we make no guarantees about the accuracy or completeness of data displayed on the platform. DevMap should not be used as the sole basis for investment, legal, or development decisions.

Children's Privacy

DevMap is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
